Vacancy - Benefice Profile
Rector of the Cley Hill Villages
We are looking for a parish priest who loves the rural church, with the imagination and collaborative skills to see smaller churches flourish in this beautiful setting.
The benefice has two parishes with six churches, lying in small rural communities (total population c.3,000). We hope our new Rector will be:
·
A collaborative,
open-hearted priest who is inclusive and will enjoy working with the us to
develop our rural benefice.
·
Able to inspire, lead
and guide us towards growth, through developing fresh missional ideas.
· Enthusiastic and dedicated in developing our relationship with the children at our local schools.
· At ease working with a team of committed members across our benefice.
We offer:
- Welcoming, willing and active communities.
- A modern, four-bedroom Rectory in a pleasant village location.
- An area of outstanding natural beauty, with good road and rail links - situated halfway between the cities of Salisbury and Bath.
